Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist, psychologist and the founder of analytical psychology. He was one of the greatest thinkers and visionaries of the 20th century. He has collaborated with many of the great figures within the field of  depth psychology and psychiatry (i.e. Sigmund Freud, Pierre Janet, Eugen Bleuler). During his long life he created 4 psychological concepts: the theories of the complex, psychological types, archetypes and the concept of unus mundus. These ideas formed the basis of many psychological approaches and  had a fundamental role in the history of culture. He wrote many books which have been collected in 20 volumes long edition of Collected Works (developed in Germany and the UK).

Analytical psychology offers a consistent model of the human psyche based on its system of psychotherapy and analysis – with a focus on the development of mental health and personality growth, known as the process of individuation. It is also a source of theoretical knowledge and inspiration for social sciences and humanities.
